Seems to be a solid, small cabinet. We don't have it overloaded in weight but still seems sturdy for this price point. It maintains its square'ish shape to keep the doors properly closing and aligned. We are using it in a conditioned space for organization with an industrial look. We like it, it matched a few other cabinets of this brand and finish.

After ‘treating myself’ to a new large set of cordless tools courtesy of a recent HD sale, I needed a place to house them. Enter the Gladiator. I put it together myself in about 45 minutes. Use the wisdom of another reviewer when setting the shelves - brace one side by inserting long screws / nails while working the other side. Personally, I don’t care about an overall color scheme to unify my workspaces. Thus, saving more money by buying the ‘white’ cabinet was an easy choice. If it matters, the white is greyish. It comfortably accomodates 8 handheld cordless tools and about as many battery packs. The most telling element of this product review is that I bought another one after loading this unit up.

This is NOT a do-it-yourself project for amateurs, nor a solo project even for the accomplished-- units are heavy and hard to position without a 2d person. I had to hire two people from a furniture company, and it took them parts of two days to assemble and then balance them on the uneven garage floor (I ordered about a dozen cabinets) BUT they are strong, attractive, and give the garage/mudroom areas a very finished, organized and polished look. That every lock is identical may be off-putting but then again someone unauthorized would have to have a key, whether it fits one cabinet or all. I am completely pleased!

Your diagrams are slightly OFF. In 1 of the pictures, it shows how to ' connect ' the 2 rear panels. Well the picture is WRONG, because, if you assemble the panels as shown, there aren't any nuts in the middle & at the same time, at the bottom, there 2 panels both of which have nuts. The lower panel has to be turned opposite of what the picture shows. In other words, turn the panel 180*.the other problem is how the rear strip that mounts to the wall, should be installed. I found out, by PURE ACCIDENT, how the mount the strip, but also how it fits the top / rear of the cabinet. Your picture shows the strip as though it should fit into the top rear of the cabinet, while it should show how to catch the upper lip on the cabinet.
The instructions were not the best, but we figured it out. The drawer does not fit the best.

I've got a lot of other Gladiator cabinets in my garage so it made sense to go with this cabinet when I needed to make my lunchbox planer mobile. All of the pieces are clearly labeled and the instructions are easy to follow so don't be intimidated with "some assembly required". I added the wheels also from Gladiator and they were easy to mount as well. Not super heavy duty but all and all, works well for what I need it for.

Just finished assembling this bad boy. I have to say, it looks smashing. Admittedly, I don't usually enjoy the assembly phase on a product like this, but today was sunny and clear, I opened up the garage door and put on some Velvet Underground, and took my time, with a beer half-way in, and actually enjoyed the process from beginning to end. Love my Modular GearBox! Fits great on side of garage and I keep all of my car wash cleaning supplies as well as a few tools in the top drawer. Efficient space and easy to build. Very well made and easy to assemble, BUT, I purchased this 2-door with drawer cabinet along with the 2-door cabinet w/o a drawer expecting to use them side by side under a bench. However, even though the heights are listed as the same, they are not. The cabinets have different sized legs making one cabinet 1/2 inch higher than the other. The legs are not interchangeable and the adjustment range of the legs is not sufficient to level the two cabinets to the same height. Clearly an unfortunate oversight by Gladiator.

Cabinet has sturdy parts and excellent directions. Follow them closely. Only issue was was installing the shelves. They are evenly spaced, but won't fit anything. Based placement on the magnets for the door, per instructions, but need to figure out something else. Fits nicely under the gladiator bench.
