The syscal calibration process was designed to monitor the accuracy of a previously installed not If eye transmitter and its modified* solid Simulator retrofit probe. This process will be used with the transmitter and solid Simulator probe connected, measured as a unit, and in place within the use environment. Calibration of the transmitter and solid Simulator is achieved by comparing the documented readings from the transmitter and solid Simulator with the reading from the syscal 35025 thermocouple instrument and the 50219-k probe. This reading is referred to as the reference standard. The total system accuracy (TSA) of syscal is ±0.5°F (±0.3°C). a certificate of calibration from an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory is also supplied. This accuracy will provide a Test uncertainty ratio (tur) of 4:1 when used as the reference standard for the tempera transmitter and solid product Simulator.
