Detail Master, Burnmaster, Razortip, Nibsburner - adapter to Colwood Pen

If you have a
Detail Master
( 1/4" RCA connector),
Burnmaster ( 1/4" connctor)
or
Nibsburner ( could be 1/4" or 1/8" connector see below)
woodburning unit and can't get Pens for it anymore, you can purchase an adapter cord that allows you to use any Colwood Pen with those and many other brands power units.
If you have a
Razertip ( 1/8" connector)
or
newer Nibsburner
( 1/8" connector)
power unit and want to use Colwood Pens with it - I have the adapter cords.
Detail Master adapter cord has a male 1/4" RCA (large) plug on one end and a smaller 1/8" female plug on the other end.   The large male plug goes in your Detail Master (
or Burnmaster and some older  Nibsburner)
box and the small female plug connects to the Colwood Pens.
Pictured is the adapter cord which is a 16
gauge
wire - identified by the back coating on the small plug end.  I also offer a 14
AWG wire which while not pictured will come with red coating on the small plug end.  14 gauge is a heaver wire which will carry more current with less voltage drop and last longer
but which some people find more restrictive in use due to it having a   "stiffer"  feel.
The Razertip power unit to Colwood Pen adapter cord has the smaller size 1/8"male plug on one end to go in the Razertip power unit and a  1/8"female plug on the other end to accept the Colwood Pens.  That comes in both the 16 AWG and 14 AWG  wire sizes.
This same adapter cord will work on newer Nibsburner power units
- you will need to look closely at your Nibsburner to identify which type plug (1/4" or 1/8" your Nibsburner box has.

If you are unsure what size plug you need
, try this "pencil test".  Unplug your unit. Sharpen a #2 yellow standard  pencil.
Gently
place the pencil tip into the hole on your unit
until
it won't go in any further.  Then look at the pencil - if a lot of bard would is showing and no or little lead than it is the 1/8 connector you need. If all or most wood is covered and  what you see is mostly yellow than it is a 1/4 inch RCA (large) connector you need.

The Replaceable sets also come with a RT-handle and an EZ-puller. The Foxed Tip sets do not need these as each tip has a handle attached.  See attached images for the difference in RT versus FT
The 5 Fixed Tip and the 5 Replaceable Tip sets have added the "D" tip and "J" tip to the starter sets for added diversity. See the images for one with all the tip shapes available.
I have all of the individual Colwood   Tips in either FT or RT styles.

f you want different or more or less number of Pens, contact me via eBay messages before ordering as FT  prices range from  .75 to per Fixed Tip Pen
depending on the specific Pen(s) you want. RT ptices range from .50 to .75  There are 50 different Pens that I carry.
Because of the RT-handle cost and the associated Ez-Puller cost,  the
'Replaceable Tip Pen Set"  which I sell costs more than the same 3 Fixed tip set.  But from there after, each Replaceable tip you purchase saves you about . Note the difference in the 5 RT and 5 FT sets.
